Nicht das Verkleiden, sondern das Unterstreichen der eigenen weiblichen Vorzüge steht im Vordergrund der Damenkollektion von MD. Für sie ist wichtig, dass sich die Trägerin in ihrem Modell wohl fühlt.
Die Entwürfe sind sportlich bis elegant und bestehen aus Einzelteilen (auch maßangefertigt) und auch untereinander kombinierbaren Teilen. 
MD verarbeitet unterschiedlichste Materialien und verändert deren Erscheinungsbild durch präzise Schnitttechnik und hochwertige Verarbeitung.
Beeinflusst wird das Design von MD durch Eindrücke aus dem Leben in der Stadt und auf dem Land.

Geboren (Oktober 1976) und aufgewachsen im Burgenland (A), beendet sie 1996 die HBLA für Mode- und Bekleidungstechnik in Oberwart. Nach 3-jähriger Berufserfahrung in einem Damenmaßsalon in Wien, absolviert sie 2000 die Meisterprüfung und arbeitete bis 2008 für eine österreichische Kindermodendesignerin (Taki-To/Wien).

Im Jänner 2009 gründet sie das Label MD.

Anfang Mai 2009 eröffnet sie ihren ersten Shop in der Börsegasse 7 im 1. Bezirk in Wien. 

 

 

 

Dagmar Mikolics

The designer Dagmar Mikolics designs with her label MD fashion for women, both for business as well as for everyday occasions. Not dressing up, but underlining the female advantage is at the forefront of her collections. It is important for her that the wearer feels comfortable in her model.

Through the precision cutting technology and the high-qualitiy manufacturing, she aspires to meet the high requirements of Austrian fashion.

After her graduation from HBLA for fashion and clothing technology, the Burgenland born designer Dagmar Mikolics found her way to Vienna, where she, after many years of professional experience and the completion of the master, founded the label MD in January 2009.

Her designs are elegant and sporty and are made in single pieces and small series. She works constantly on new models, resulting in her ever-expanding collections.

Different materials change appearance through precise cutting techniques, and are processed in high value manufacturing.

In addition to the collections, MD produces also upon request custom-made pieces for each reason,which the life may bring!

In May 2009 she opened her first Shop in the first district in Vienna.
